I learned to trust in God

I come from a conservative Hindu family, but since I studied in a convent school, I knew about Jesus. Last year while I was watching the Joyce Meyer TV program, Joyce mentioned that we can approach God boldly for solutions to any of our problems.

In our religion, we are taught to perform certain pujas and make offerings as prescribed by the priests to get solutions for our problems. So I called up the call center to tell them about my problem with my 13-year old son. He was taking part in a state level elocution competition and though he always came first, there was a teacher who was jealous of him, and wanted to support another rich girl who, I felt, was not as good as my son. I was worried about this as my son was working hard for the competition and if my son did not get the prize, he would be very disturbed and discouraged. The brother who answered my call listened to me calmly and told me that when we put our trust in God, He would never allow any injustice to happen to His children. This encouraged me very much and I started praying to Jesus along with the people in the call center.  Finally, my son got the first prize in the Elocution competition in the whole State of Karnataka.  This increased our faith in Jesus Christ.

On one other occasion, my husband had paid Rs 2 lakh to purchase a piece of land from a lady.  Though eight months had elapsed, the lady would not register the land in our name.  We came to know that she was a woman who cheated people earlier. When we asked her to return the money she came up with many excuses.  Then we called up JMM Call Center and they prayed with us. Within a fortnight we got back our money.

I thank God for Joyce Meyer Ministries and for the television programs which have benefited us.
