A Young Boy's Blessing
India’s poor and disadvantaged have long been in need. Of those bearing hardship, most affected are children, whose health and education suffer as a result of their deprived conditions.
Sai, a seven year old boy, lives with his parents in an old broken down cowshed. Sleeping in a corner with only cows and goats to keep him company during the day, this young boy’s health is affected by the chemical waste and fumes that flow through this small dwelling from the many factories nearby. Impoverished and with no future to give their son, Sai’s parents ran out of options for their child.
Longing to study, but with no platform to develop their talent, children like Sai are forced to give up on their dreams. For such children, the Ashirwaad Feeding Centers are a blessing. Providing nutritious meals every day, school tuitions, and the opportunity to learn lessons from the Bible, the Ashirwaad Feeding Centers ensure that children are not deprived of an education, physical fitness, and a wholesome spiritual life. At the Ashirwaad Feeding Center, Sai learns Scripture and sings songs to the Lord. This young child is grateful to Joyce Meyer Ministries and tells all of his friends about the new opportunities in life he has been given by the Ashirwaad Feeding Center.
