A Dream-Come -True Instance
Torikul Sheikh is a boy of 6 years. He comes from a family of seven. His father Hadish is a 48 year old driver. His mother is a housewife. They live in a village called Bedgram, in Gopalgonj district in Bangladesh.
Torikul’s father finds it difficult to feed his wife and five children with his meager income of nearly 3,500 Taka a month which is equivalent to US $ 50. Despite his great struggle to make both ends meet, he often fails to provide them with proper food each day.
In such a situation, education for his children is something Torikul’s father just cannot afford. However, these circumstances have never hindered Torikul Sheik from dreaming. He dreams to be an honest Police Officer when he grows up. He also likes to play cricket and football with his friends. It is a luxury for Torikul to have a simple meal of rice with fish or banana with bread.
It is at this juncture; that the Joyce Meyer Ministries Feeding Program has entered Torikul Sheik’s life. It is totally a dream-come-true instance for Torikul as he finds bananas, bread, rice etc every day. It is no longer unaffordable for him. Also, he is on his way of joining into Police force as the feeding center gives him education through its evening tuitions.
The Feeding Center has played a vital role in making Hadish’s family of seven, happy and content by providing them with basic needs.
Now, Torikul Sheikhs is known as a very humble and prompt student by his teachers. This happy kid thanks the Joyce Meyer Ministries Feeding Program for turning his life around.
Dear partners and friends, thank you for investing into the lives of these little ones in Bangladesh, please continue to pray for Torikul’s life so that he may be all that he wants to be in the future to come. |
