Struggle-to-Live State of Mind No More
Rajamma, a 61 year old widow was living on her own, working as a daily wage laborer in the fields trying to make her ends meet. She has a son who lives in a neighboring village with his wife & child and hardly has time to spare for his old mother. Thus Rajamma, a lonely old woman who’s been a widow for 11 years now decided to take refuge in the JMM Old Age Home.
When the JMM Old Age Home found Rajamma in her struggle- to-live state, they at once offered her a place in the Home assuring her prompt attention and care. Since then, Rajamma has been leading a care-free life without having to think about her daily needs. On the other hand, she’s also found people of her age living along with her…a great solace in times of loneliness.
Above all, she began to walk in the Lord with the help of the staff and consequently started to sense God’s love for her which she regards as a treasure.
The love of God through the staff at the JMM Old Age Home eventually enlightened Rajamma to accept Christ as her personal savior and get baptized too. She is now an active Christian passionate about serving others at the home with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
